Which Honda generator do I need for a 2BHK flat?
Most 2BHK homes running lights, fans, a fridge, TV and Wi-Fi need about 1.5 to 2 kVA, which the Honda EX2400S (1.8 kVA) covers. Add a water pump, desktop or AC and you move up a size. Use the sizing tool above, then call us to confirm.
Inverter generator or regular generator?
Inverter models (Honda EU30is and EU70is) give steady, pure sine wave power and run much quieter, so they suit laptops, routers, medical devices and flats with close neighbours. The EP1000 and EX2400S cost less and are fine for lights, fans, pumps and tools.
Can a portable generator run my AC?
A 1.5-ton inverter AC needs roughly 1.5 to 2 kVA on its own, plus the rest of the house. The Honda EU70is (5.5 kVA rated, 7 kVA maximum) runs an inverter AC with fans, lights and a fridge together.
Do generators lose power in the hills?
Yes. Petrol engines lose about 3.5% output for every 300 m (1,000 ft) of altitude, so at Shimla or Manali a generator gives roughly a quarter less than in Delhi. We size up for your location so it still carries the load.
Do you deliver to Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand?
Yes. We dispatch from Dwarka by road to Shimla, Manali, Kasauli, Dharamshala, Dehradun, Mussoorie, Rishikesh, Nainital and nearby towns. Call or WhatsApp for freight and timing to your address.
Is it a genuine Honda with warranty?
Every machine comes sealed with the manufacturer's warranty card and a GST invoice that carries the serial number. We also stock genuine spares and engine oil.
Can I exchange my old generator?
Yes. We take old generators in exchange against a new Honda, and we also buy and sell used generators and machinery. Finance is available too; call us for details.
